HOW TO START A CONVERSATION WITH AN UBER DRIVER

Riding an uber/any rideshare can be an awkward experience especially if you're in the passenger seat so i've written down easy ways to start conversations, this is coming from me a certified introvert with little extroverted tendencies.

1. Drivers usually start the conversation

Most drivers will start the conversation by asking "how are you today" or "how's your day going". Try to give more than a one worded reply to make thing less awkward, you can talk about a specific not too personal thing that happened that day.

2. Try to continue/hold the conversation

continue the conversation by ASKING THEM how their day was, chances are they would really appreciate the question and have an interesting reply that would lead to a less awkward conversation

3. Ask about their experience riding

you can keep the conversation going by asking them how long they have been ride sharing for or when they started today's ride. You can also ask them if they enjoy riding for uber

4. Wait for them to start a conversation

if an uber driver doesn't make an effort to start a conversation during your ride maybe it's a cue that they aren't in the mood to talk or hate small talk.

5. Reinvent yourself for the five second ride

if you're like me and are constantly up for an adventure, the five seconds ride can be your chance to have another accent or a whole nother personality, it could be fun and an adrenaline rush.
